Sean Sullivan

Sean has been in the intellectual property profession since 2016. He is a trainee patent attorney and holds a first class Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Manchester.

Since joining Slingsby Partners, Sean has worked with large and small companies across a wide range of technical fields, assisting with tasks including prior art searches, drafting applications and managing international prosecution of applications through to grant.

Sean’s master’s degree included modules in solid state physics, soft matter physics and quantum computing. His final year research project was in the field of particle physics and involved simulating and displaying ultra-high energy tau neutrino interactions in a 3d model of a neutrino observatory. During the summer months of his time in university, Sean was involved in designing and testing nuclear physics experiments for future students to undertake.
